Lychee Slicer 8.0.4 arrives one week after 8.0.3 and brings new tools alongside the usual fixes. Auto-orientation is now powered by AI, voxel hollowing gets new infill types, and the Halot X1-Neo and X1-Max join the supported printers with fast slicing. Support-heavy scenes also load faster, with half the memory allocations.
Auto-orientation is now powered by AI. Lychee analyses your model and suggests a print orientation in one click, ready for supports.
New infill types are available when hollowing with voxels, giving you more control over the inner structure of your hollowed models.
New printers: Added support for the Halot X1-Neo and Halot X1-Max, each with a dedicated slow speed section.
Fast slicing: Fast slicing is now enabled for the Halot X1, X1-Neo and X1-Max.
Feedback prompt: The satisfaction widget now keeps its state from one session to the next, including sessions, slicings and history.
Deleting supports is now faster.
Only bracing supports are rebuilt when a scene loads, and the pixel raft is now built once instead of several times. Memory allocations on load are cut in half.
Object sprites are now oriented once per frame, and sprites of deleted objects are released from memory.
