Lychee Slicer 8.0.0 introduced a complete application rebuild. With that new foundation in place, we’re following up with a series of updates focused on fixing issues reported by our community. Lychee Slicer 8.0.1 is the first in this series, restoring manual .lyt saving and export, fixing hole creation, and addressing issues in model preparation. It also adds more control over infill.
Manual .lyt saving and export restored: You can once again manually save and export .lyt files.
More reliable hole creation: Fixed an issue where creating holes in a model could leave the model open.
Voxel hollowing in batch mode: Fixed an issue where an object's voxel hollowing could be lost in batch mode.
Shift rotation snapping restored: Rotation snapping works again when holding the Shift key.
Prepare selection: Fixed the selection rectangle missing some objects in Prepare mode.
Hollowing stability: Fixed an application freeze when deleting a model while hollowing was being recalculated.
Numeric fields: Restored the increment arrows in numeric input fields.
Prepare interface: Plate management buttons are now hidden in Prepare mode.
More control over infill: infill can now be disabled. The infill interval is only shown when infill is enabled.
